Hosmer Winery - Gruner Veltliner 2019 (750ml)

Staff Note: I really enjoyed this Gruner Vetliner from Hosmer. This vineyard from Cayuga Lake was new to the store this year and has been a huge hit.  It had slight fruit upfront and finished well balanced.  It was less austere than what you might expect from an Austrian Vetliner.  A refreshing pleasure to drink  - Anne

Yellow peach and apricot jump out of the glass, the palette is of opulent kiwi and nectarine. Notes of cherry blossom and mango carry a rich finish. Residual Sugar: 0.6%

About Hosmer:  Hosmer Winery is home to Patrician Verona Vineyard established in 1972, comprised of the nearly 70 acres of grapes that provide Hosmer Winery with the fruit to remain a fully functioning estate winery. The vineyard frames our tasting room and production facility creating a picturesque setting on the western shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. With silt loam soils, shale bedrock, and Easterly sloping land that matches near-maximum lake width and depth, Patrician Verona is ideally situated within the Finger Lakes Region to produce premium wine grapes.
