Our Shipping Information

Age Requirement

The purchase or sale of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law.  You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcohol and all of our shipping deliveries are shipped with an Adult Signature required.  The shipping carrier used is authorized and required to ask for valid ID at time of delivery.  There must be an adult over the age of 21 present at time of delivery.  We are unable to specify a time of day that your delivery will be attempted.  We will not be able to refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to us because there was no adult to sign for the wine.

Restricted States

Please note that we are not able to delivery to all states.  If you are not sure if we can ship to your state, please call us at 518-374-4013 or email wines@niskywines.com.  We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses.  

If you are having difficultly placing a shipping order within New York State or for an approved state outside of NYS, place your order as a pick-up with a note requesting shipping.  Call or email the store and we will complete the shipping section on our end.  You will not be charged for any of your order until you approve the shipping rate we quote you.

By placing your order, you authorize Niskayuna Specialty Wines & Liquors to engage a common carrier on your behalf to deliver the merchandise to your specified address.  

Billing Information

When an order is initially placed your card is authorized but not charged.  Your credit card is not charged until inventory availability has been verified, your shipment has been packed and is ready to go.  Once an order is marked by us as completed and ready to ship, your credit card will then be charged.  Please note that your billing address must match your credit card address, if there are any questions or issues with credit card verification we will contact you.  You may be asked to provide identification and verification information.

Legal Disclaimer

By placing an order on this website, the buyer assumes title of the wines once purchased. By arranging for transportation of the wine, we are providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wine and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the wine shipped to him or her.
